Voor Persoonlijke verzorging & Schoonheidsmiddelen
HEC-de persoonlijke verzorging & de schoonheidsmiddelenrang worden gemakkelijk opgelost in koude of warm water om glasheldere oplossingen van variërende viscositeit te geven. Voorts laag aan middelgroot mw zijn de types volledig oplosbaar in glycerol en hebben goede oplosbaarheid in hydro-alcoholic systemen die tot 60%-ethylalcohol bevatten. Het is over het algemeen onoplosbaar in organische oplosmiddelen.
